World Brandy Awards Winners 2020

21.04.20VAN RYN’S CROWNED WORLD’S BEST BRANDYThe World Brandy Award winners have now been announced. Following the tastings, which this year were conducted exclusively remotely, we are delighted, despite challenging circumstances, to present this years’ winners. From all corners of the globe, the winner from South Africa is ‘everything a brandy should be’ according to our judging panel.

Established in 2013 and part of the prestigious World Drinks Awards program, this years’ World Brandy Awards were judged by an international industry panel of 13 judges. Traditionally, tasting round one is completed remotely, with the panel then meeting to judge on the World’s Best in round 2. However, due to this years’ extraordinary circumstances, all rounds were completed at home to guarantee the safety of all and to ensure all samples could be evaluated fully.
